Self-acting temperature regulators RTB are suitable for water, steam, non inflammable vapors and gases and neutral liquids. Easy control point setting with the hand wheel at any time. The temperature regulator can works in temperatures range from 0°C up to +180°C. The temperature sensor with additionally stainless shield can be use in an acid atmospheres.

Construction:
For ensuring stable regulation at high differential pressures, the
valve-plug (3) is balanced (4). The regulator consisting of two
components:
- executing unit (a control valve ZRTP or ZTM series): valve-body
(1), valve-seat (2), valve-plug (3), balanced unit (4), valve-stem (5), pusher
(6);
- a sensor TCT: temperature-sensor (7), pin (8), adjusting
handwheel (9), capillary (10).
Principle of operation:
A spring in the valve holds the valve open. When outlet temperature at the sensor overcomes the set-up point,
the temperature sensitive fluid in the sensor and the capillary will expand proportional to a rise in temperature.
The force created by this expansion is transferred via the capillary to the actuator and closing the control valve.
In the event of a temperature overrun above the set temperature a safety springs housed inside the piston will absorb
the excess expansion of the fill. It prevents the control system from rupturing. When the temperature overrun has ceased,
the disc springs will return to their original position and the control system will be works as normal.
Installation:
Install the regulator with the sensor suspended downwards. For ensuring good work the regulator should be protect by the filter or the magnetic strainer. Install pipelines horizontally. The direction of medium flow have to correspond with the arrow on the valve body.
