Flow regulator RQB - construction
Self-acting flow regulator valve type RQB controls set-up medium flow. Flow regulator valve type RQB is designed for water, non inflammable vapors and gases and neutral liquids. Application of this regulator is heating, industrial and power installations. The pressure regulators are capable of operating within temperatures ranging from 0 to +150°C
Description:

Construction:
For ensuring stable regulation at high differential pressures, the
valve-plug (4) is balanced (5). The regulator consisting of two
connected components:
- a valve: valve-body (1), flow limiter(2), valve-seat (3),
valve-plug (4), balanced unit (5), valve-stem (6);
- an actuator: impulse pipe (7), actuator-discs and diaphgram(8), spring (9),
actuator-stem (10), adjusting nut (11), actuator case (12).
Principle of operation:
Medium flows to valve chamber (A). The flow limiter (2) determined size of the gap between chamber A and B. The control signal pass through the impulse pipe (7) from the chamber (A) to the actuator chamber (C). The value of the pressure goes by the hole in valve-plug (4) from chamber (B) to the chamber (D). The value ΔP depends on the spring tension(9). The constant difference of the pressure beetwen the chambers (C) and (D), depends on constant pressure drop ΔPm beetwen the chambers (A) and (B). The flow value is adjustable at flow limiter (2).
Installation:
Install the regulator with the actuator suspended downwards. For ensuring good work the regulator should be protect by the filter or the magnetic strainer. Install pipelines horizontally. The direction of medium flow have to correspond with the arrow on the valve body.
