Bleed valves RCRUB - construction
Self-acting bleed regualtors type RCRUB are designed to control constant pressure in installations. Self-acting bleed valves are suitable for steam, non inflammable vapors and gases and neutral liquids. Application of this regulator is heating, industrial and power installations. Adjust range of set pressure is depending on the actuator: 0,2-1,6 ; 1-2,8 ; 1- 3,5 or 2,5-7 bar. The regulators are capable of operating in temperature range from 0 to +180°C (with condensation chamber, if necessary).

Construction:
For ensuring stable regulation at high differential pressures, the
valve-plug (3) is balanced (4). The regulator consisting of two
connected components:
- executing unit (valve): valve-body (1),
valve-seat (2), valve-plug (3), balanced unit (4), valve-stem (5);
- regulating unit (actuator): impulse pipes (6), actuator discs and diaphragm (7),
springs (8), actuator-stem (9), adjusting nut (10), actuator-body
(11).
Priciple of operation:
Medium flows to valve chamber (A). Control signal pass through the impulse pipe (6) to the actuator chamber (B). The actuator chamber (C) is connected with atmosphere. Size of the gap between the valve-seat (2) and the valve-plug (3) depends on the constant difference pressure between chamber B and C. When control pressusre overcomes the set point, the valve-plug (3) opens to the moment when pressure difference between the chamber B and C will be equal to the adjusted pressure set point. Pressure value is adjusted by adjustment nut (11). Normally the valve-plug (3) is open.
Installation:
Install the regulator with the actuator suspended downwards. For ensuring good work the regulator should be protect by the filter or the magnetic strainer. Install pipelines horizontally. The direction of medium flow have to correspond with the arrow on the valve body.
