Pressure reducing valves RCRB - construction
Self-acting pressure reducing valves type RCRB are designed to control set-up pressure in installations, which are connected with the pressure downstream of the valve. Application of this regulator is heating, industrial and power installations. Self-acting pressure reducing valves are suitable for steam, non inflammable vapors and gases and neutral liquids. Adjust range of set pressure is depending on the actuator: 0,2-1,6 ; 1-2,8 ; 1- 3,5 or 2,5-7 bar. The regulators are capable of operating in temperature range from 0 to +180°C (with condensation chamber, if necessary).
- Installation on the supply or return of system.
- Excellent control of the process over high differential pressures.
- High quality of regulation.
- Does not require conservation.
- requiring no external power source.
Construction:
For ensuring stable regulation at high differential pressures, the
valve-plug (3) is balanced (4). The regulator consisting of two
units:
- executing unit (valve): valve body (1),
valve-seat (2), valve-plug (3), balanced unit (4), valve-stem (5);
- self-acting unit (actuator): impulse pipe (6), actuator
discs and diaphragm (8), springs (9), actuator-stem (10), adjusting nut (11),
actuator-body(12).
Principle of operation:
Medium flows to valve chamber (A). Control signal higher pressure pass through the impulse pipe (7) to the actuator chamber (B). The actuator chamber (C) is connected with atmosphere. Size of the gap between the valve-seat (2) and the valve-plug (3) is depending on constant difference pressure between chamber B and C. When downstream pressure overcomes the adjusted set point, the valve closes proportionally to the changes in pressure. Pressure set point value is setting by adjustment nut (11). Normally the valve-plug (3) is open.
Installation:
Install the regulator with the actuator suspended downwards. For ensuring good work the regulator should be protect by the filter or the magnetic strainer. Install pipelines horizontally. The direction of medium flow have to correspond with the arrow on the valve body.
