Self-acting pressure regulators with flow limiter type RCQoB are designed to control set-up differential pressure in installations. Self-acting pressure regulators with flow limiter are suitable for steam, non inflammable vapors and gases and neutral liquids. Adjust range of set pressure is depending on the actuator: 0,2-1,6 ; 1-2,8 ; 1- 3,5 or 2,5-7 bar. The regualtor is easy to set by an adjuster at any time. The regualtors are capable of operating in temperature range from 0 to +180°C. (with condensation chamber, if necessary)

Construction:

For ensuring stable regulation at high differential pressures, the valve-plug (4) is balanced (5). The regulator consisting of two units:
- the valve: valve body (1), flow limiter(2), valve-seat (3), valve-plug (4), balanced plug (5), valve-stem (6);
- the actuator: impulse pipe (7), actuator discs and diaphragm (8), spring (9), actuator-stem (10), adjusting nut (11), actuator-body (12).

Principle of operation:

Medium enters to the valve chamber (A) as indicated by the arrow. The limiter-plug (2) determine size of the gap between the valve-chamber A and B. Higher pressure pass through the impulse pipe (7) to the actuator chamber (C). Pressure value in the chamber (B) is transmitted by holes in valve-plug (4) to the chamber (D). Changes of pressure between the chamber B and pressure in the chamber C, creates a force which moves the valve-plug (4). When downstream pressusre overcomes the set point of the spring, the valve-plug (4) closes to moment when pressure between the chamber C and D will be equal to spring set point (9). The value of pressure difference is adjust by nut (11). Normally the valve-plug (3) is open.

Installation:

Install the regulator with the actuator suspended downwards. For ensuring good work the regulator should be protect by the filter or the magnetic strainer. Install pipelines horizontally. The direction of medium flow have to correspond with the arrow on the valve body.
